This is an exciting Master’s programme designed for those who want to develop a dynamic career in the global hospitality and tourism industry. The course is designed for graduates from hospitality, tourism, business or related disciplines, who wish to build a detailed understanding of international hospitality and tourism management.
Throughout this course you’ll get the opportunity to develop broad industry knowledge, allowing you to make appropriate judgements concerning the strategic and operational challenges faced by international hospitality and tourism businesses. You’ll then be enabled to devise and implement relevant strategies to address these challenges. Two specialist tourism modules – International Tourism and Niche Tourism - enhance your knowledge of tourist destinations and markets. Other modules include Management of International Hospitality Organisations, International Marketing, Hospitality Operational Analysis and Planning, and International Human Resource Management.
The course is delivered through a combination of lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops. Extensive use is made of contemporary case studies and, where appropriate, fieldwork visits and guest lectures will take place.
