The Klaus-Peter Müller Scholarship was introduced through a generous one million Euros donation by Professor Dr. h.c. Klaus-Peter Müller, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Commerzbank AG and Honorary Chairman of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Foundation.
Full and part scholarships will be awarded to cover the tuition fee.

The selection criteria include:

the average grade of the first degree(s),
performance in the Frankfurt School application process,
personal attributes (motivation, engagement, extracurricular activities) and
the applicant’s financial and family background.
If qualifications are equal, preference will be given to applicants from large families.

All applications to the Klaus-Peter Müller Scholarship must be completed in German.

Full and part-time scholarships


attend a full-time Master or MBA programme
are from the German-speaking region (applicants connected to the region may also be considered)
are not able to self-fund their studies and
have performed exceptionally well throughout their previous studies, both academically and personally.

Application Procedure

The scholarship must be applied for within the online application process, where it is required to answer the scholarship specific questions and provide supporting documents to verify eligibility. Additionally, applicants will have to submit a motivational letter expressing how they actively plan to contribute to Frankfurt School and its community.

The STIBET programme, which is funded by the Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) and the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), provides financial support to international degree-seeking students.

The scholarships are open to students who are not German citizens, are in possession of a foreign University entrance qualification recognized by the German authorities and have successfully passed the assessment procedure of the 2017 intake.

Frankfurt School awards a total of four STIBET III Matching Funds scholarships for new international Master's students in the following study programmes:

MoF - Master of Finance (M.Sc.)
MiM - Master in Management (M.Sc.)
Selection criteria for all programmes include candidates’ academic results (grade of first degree), performance in the GMAT (or equivalent), and extra-curricular achievements.

Application Procedure

It is not necessary to submit a separate application for a scholarship. All applications for admission to one of the eligible programmes that have been submitted by 30 June 2017 will be considered automatically. A Frankfurt School committee selects the scholarship winners by the end of July based on the same criteria used for admission. The committee’s decision is final and candidates have no legal entitlement to a scholarship. Students who receive other scholarships or support from their employer towards the cost of tuition are not eligible for this scholarship.
