Student Profile

Rosanna Adams

After completing my undergraduate degree in Business Management I wanted to apply the broad skill base and knowledge I'd gained into a more focused industry.

I'd worked in fashion retail whilst at school and university and I really wanted to get into buying - Heriot-Watt's MSc International Fashion Marketing has such strong links with the fashion and marketing industry and I was really impressed that fashion entrepreneur George Davies sponsors the programme.

I learnt lots and one of the highlights of the year was the trip to Milan in February - it is fantastic to go to such a leading fashion capital and soak it all up.

And if you get the opportunity to apply for an internship whilst on the programme - go for it! Don't be put off by small companies either ... they are great for learning lots and having more responsibility that you might have in a larger organsiation.
