Student Profile(s)

Olaya Gonzalez

"It’s been such a stimulating experience – seeing how my critical thinking and views have developed and broadened. It has proven to me that I can face challenges successfully. You get to learn so much about yourself, and have access to tremendous amounts of knowledge and resources. Employers do value the sacrifice and hard work a master’s degree requires.

"I come from a small town in Spain and for me Eastbourne was the perfect place – not too crowded and along the coast with mild weather. The Students’ Union organises lots of activities which provides a social centre and sense of community.

"The staff are always willing to help and do whatever they can to improve not only the student experience, but also the individual experience of living abroad and dealing with challenging situations. It’s been a thrilling experience, an emotional roller coaster, but would not change it for the world.”
