The International Commercial Law LLM offers a professional and firm academic degree that will provide a solid foundation in the current global market.
On completion of this course you will have a professional knowledge of international business law that will reflect the changing environment and realities of the current global economy. Through this course we deliver the skills and knowledge required for any high level career in a legal environment whether it be an international law firm, government organisation or a private company.
An Honours Degree 2:2 (minimum). Degrees in law, the social sciences, or other similar subjects are preferred. Those from other disciplines or with suitable professional experience will be considered on an individual basis.
Equivalent international qualifications are acceptable especially if ECTS evidence is available. Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) and/or Accreditation of Experiential Prior Learning (APEL) are considered on an individual basis according to current University Regulations.

Scholarships worth £2,000 towards tuition fees will be available for International (non-UK) students commencing full-time Taught Masters courses or a research Programme (MPhil, LLM by Research or PhD) in September 2018.
Separate application forms are not required. Therefore it is essential that the application for a place be received by the AU Postgraduate Admissions Office by the deadline specified.
Recipients of Sports Scholarships are expected to contribute to a Students' Union Sports Club and would normally be expected to represent the University in the sport for which the Scholarship was awarded.

Sports Scholarships are intended for UK/EU applicants to the University who can demonstrate recent achievement of a high standard in sport, and a commitment to developing their sporting performance whilst at university. You can hold a Sports Scholarship for any full-time course at Aberystwyth.
A Sports Scholarship application form must be submitted by 31st July in the year of entry to the University.

Music Scholarships are awarded on the basis of competitive audition to new entrants in any discipline and held for the duration of the course.
£650 p.a.
Music Scholarships are intended for experienced players for orchestra/band instruments or singers (jointly with an instrument) who can actively contribute to the University’s orchestras, bands, choirs and other ensembles.
The closing date for applications is 15th June in the year of entry to University.
Aberystwyth University offers a Scholarship towards Taught Masters, LLM by research and MPhil tuition fees for Aberystwyth University graduates. The Aber-Grad Scholarship applies to both UK/EU and International students. If you hold a First Class Bachelors (Hons.) degree, then the scholarship will be 20% of your tuition fees. Holders of Second Class degrees are eligible for a scholarship worth 10% of your Taught Masters tuition fee.
10% - 20% discount of Taught Masters tuition fee
Students must be graduates of Aberystwyth University having gained at least a 2:2 or above.
Applications for relevant courses must be received by the publicised deadline. You do not need to apply separately for this loyalty discount as it is automatically applied to course fees on enrolment where eligible.

Selection will be on the basis of academic excellence and the applicant’s suitability for their proposed course. A minimum (UK) 1st Class Honours (or equivalent) is required for an award. Scholarships are available for entirely self-financed students (i.e. they cannot be held by students with full-awards, e.g. Chevening Scholarships, Commonwealth Shared Scholarship or any governmental award or any partial awards, including AU departmental awards, Aber-grad Scholarships nor HEI partnership discounts.
£5000
Up to 13 scholarships, each worth £5,000 towards tuition fees will be available for International (non-EU) students commencing full-time Taught Masters courses in September 2018. The scholarships will be awarded for academic excellence (minimum of a UK 1st class honours degree or the equivalent award).
In order to be considered for one of these awards, an application for a place on a taught Masters degree at Aberystwyth University must be received by 27th July 2018. Separate application forms are not required. Therefore it is essential that the application for a place be received by the AU Postgraduate Admissions Office (AQRO) by the closing date.

The closing date for applications is the end of June preceding the start date of the course.
Applicants for Chevening Scholarships must:
• be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country, and intend to return there at the end of the period of study;
• hold a degree that is equivalent to at least an upper second-class honours degree in the UK;
• achieve the minimum Chevening English language requirement;
• have completed at least two years’ work or equivalent experience before applying for a Chevening Scholarship;
• be able to obtain the correct visa, and receive an unconditional offer from a UK university.

Chevening Scholarships are awarded to International students with excellent academic backgrounds who wish to pursue full-time postgraduate study in the UK. The scholarships are primarily for those who wish to undertake a Taught Masters degree.
