International Commercial Law modules

As part of this degree in International Commercial Law, students can study the following modules (you must take at least 2 of the modules in bold):

E-Commerce, Competition Law, International Intellectual Property Law, International Corporate Law and Governance, Ship and Other Mobile Assets Finance Law, Law and Practice relating to International Banking and Commercial Payments, and International Commercial Arbitration.

As study on this LLM continues through the summer, students will be required to enrol on to a second academic year to submit their research projects.

How you're taught on the International Commercial Law course

This Master of Laws programme in International Commercial Law is modular, with students needing to accumulate 180 credits.

The International Commercial Law programme is divide into two parts:

  • Part 1 consists of four modules, each weighted at 30 credits

Following successful completion of part 1, students may proceed to part 2:

  • The second part of this LLM consists of two research projects
  • The projects are usually completed over the summer period and are designed to develop students’ research skills

Students enrolled on the LLM in International Trade Law will be given the option of choosing their research essays or projects in the following areas:
