About the course
About the programme
The MSc in International Business (formally known as MSc. in Management Science) is a 2-year, full-time programme organised by the Solvay Business School of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. It targets students - both Belgian and foreign - with academic bachelor’s degrees in Business Economics or Management who are looking for an English-language master’s programme with a distinct international and multidisciplinary flavour, and in an international setting.
Entry Requirements
Candidates with a university bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a field related to business/management or economics. Applicants who have sucessfully obtained the minimum number of credits in EACH of the following subjects (total of 96 ECTS) may be admitted after a review of their application by the Admissions Board: Law (6 ECTS), Economics (15 ECTS), Management (24 ECTS), Languages (15 ECTS), Quantitative methods (24 ECTS), and Humanities/Social Sciences (12 ECTS).
You need to be proficient in English: TOEFL IBT (min=79), IELTS (min=6.5), ITACE (min=B2) or Cambridge English (min scale score 170).

EEA students: 980 EUR/year
Non EEA students: 3.850 EUR/year

Scholarships
The Master Mind Scholarships Fellowship Programme for Excellent Students is a scholarship programme offered by the Flemish government aiming to promote the internationalisation of the Flemish higher education.
Please note that you need to have applied for a place at the VUB and have received an offical letter of acceptance, issued by the VUB Education and Student Administration Office, before you can apply for the scholarship. Eligibility
only future master students can apply
The applicant should have a high standard of academic performance and/or potential. He/she meets all academic entrance criteria, including relevant language requirements, for entering the Master programme of choice
All nationalities can apply. The previous degree obtained should be from a higher education institution located outside Flanders, Belgium.
Students who are already enrolled in a Flemish (Belgian) higher education institution cannot apply.
Application Procedure
You must first apply for a study programme of own choice at the VUB (https://www.vub.be/en/studying-at-the-vub/how-to-apply#apply
Only students having received an offical letter of acceptance issued by the VUB-Education and Student Administration Office can apply for the scholarship.
Application deadline for a Master Mind scholarship is 28 February 2021 - 5 pm GMT+1
Application package should contain:
a. application form (can be obtained by sending email to international.relations@vub.ac.be)
b. copy of the letter of acceptance issued by the VUB-Education and Student Administration Office
c. copy of acquired degree(s) and Transcript(s) of records; if written in another language than Dutch, English, German or French, a certified translation into one of these languages must be enclosed
d. copy of official language test (TOEFL, IELTS or CEQS) - passing a language test is compulsory
e. letter of motivation (max 2 A4 pages)
f. two letters of recommendation from professors of your (previous) Home university, written in English
