This programme is designed to provide insight into the theory, policies and practices in the broad field of global business. This new programme will:
Introduce you to the process of globalisation and the implications of globalisation for business firms and their managers Explain how and why the world's economies differ Present a review of the economies and policies of global trade and investment Examine different strategies that business can adopt to complete in the global marketplace and enter specific foreign markets. Particularly successful graduates will be able to use the qualification as an entry into PhD research.

QMUL works closely with the Chevening - the UK government’s international scheme aimed at developing global leaders - to provide a large number of full scholarships for study on our one-year Masters courses.Every year QMUL hosts a large cohort of the 1500 Chevening Scholars who come to study at universities all over the UK. In 2016-17 we have a record of 87 scholars joining QMUL from countries across the globe!Chevening Scholarships are available for students from all nationalities.All Chevening awards cover full overseas tuition fees, as well as providing a stipend for living costs, air-fares, and a variety of other expenses.Chevening Scholars also benefit from a year-long programme of events helping you experience the best of British culture and to make the most of your time in the UK.There are two types of award on offer at QMUL:QMUL-Chevening Scholarships A large number of these awards will be available across all one-year QMUL masters courses.QMUL-Chevening Partner Awards In addition to the QMUL-Chevening Scholarships, QMUL also supports an additional seventeen QMUL-Chevening Partner Awards. These awards are for specific academic departments and for particular courses.

To be eligible for a Chevening Award you must: - Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country - Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended - Have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a postgraduate programme at a UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK - Have at least two years’ work experience - Meet the Chevening English language requirement by 13 July 2017

HESPAL aims to help create the next generation of senior academics who can maintain international quality standards at Palestinian universities and to develop renewed, sustainable links between Palestinian and UK universities.The Scheme will upgrade junior academic staff in Palestinian universities through a Masters Scholarship programme.Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has one scholarship available, which covers Masters academic fees (in the form of a fee waiver from participating UK HEIs), a living allowance and pre-departure briefing. Value of Scholarship(s)
- Applicant must be a resident citizen of Palestinian Territories. - Applicant must be currently employed by the Palestinian university which nominates her/him, which must be one of the participating Palestinian universities. - Applicant will have a Masters degree from a Palestinian university with a minimum grade of very good (and equivalent to at least a 3.0 Bachelor’s Degree from UK). - Applicant must sign a written undertaking to return to Palestinian university within a time frame agreed with their university, normally one year. - Applicant must have IELTS certification appropriate for course and university (normally at least 6.5, sometimes higher).
- Applicants should complete the HESPAL application form in collaboration with their university, indicating which subject area(s) they wish to study. Applicants should specify at least three and up to to five UK HEIs in order of preference, but there is no guarantee they will be placed in one of these institutions. - Submit the HESPAL application to the home university in Palestine with all supporting documents attached. - Each applicant should submit an online application direct to each university that they wish to apply to and should attach a copy to the HESPAL application. The completed application forms and all other documentation must be submitted in hard copies to your university scholarship coordination office by 23 Janurary 2017.
A good upper second class honours degree or equivalent in any subject. For non-native English speakers, IELTS 7.0 including a band score of at least 6.0 in Writing (6.5 plus four weeks' presessional; 6.0 plus at least eight weeks' presessional), or equivalent is required.
