About the course
The MSc International Business degree at the University of Birmingham equips graduates with a comprehensive understanding of current international issues, preparing them for a career in any part of the world. The programme is designed to give students a strong foundation in key areas such as globalisation, operations and procurement, and corporate governance. Additionally, the course has been accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), which aims to ensure excellence and clarity about various general management qualifications.
Entry Requirements
A good Honours degree (2:1 or higher) or postgraduate diploma from a UK university or equivalent.
This course is also offered in a 24-month format. Applicants with a 2.2 bachelor’s honours degree or overseas equivalent may be eligible for the 24-month version of this course. The first year of the 24-month course involves completing our Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (GDBA) programme, which will provide you with a broad foundation of knowledge in business disciplines.

Matilda Lundberg
Matilda has a BA in Business Economics from Uppsala University in Sweden. During her final year, she went abroad and studied at the University of Manchester. She really enjoyed her stay in the UK, so after she had finished her degree she went back to Manchester and worked there until she moved to Birmingham to undertake her masters. She has several years of working experience and has been working within retail banking at one of Scandinavia's largest banks.
