What will you do?

- Foundation Day
A one day introductory course of training led by expert aesthetic doctors. This will provide you with a certificate that allows you to start practising botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments independently.

CPD accredited university-standard material that covers the latest medical research in botulinum toxins, dermal fillers, skin ageing, dermatology, psychology, ethics, law, policy, and principles of treatment in aesthetics. Study in your own time.

All students observe 10 treatments of each injectable and practice 10 treatments under expert supervision. Students are free to either organise their own supervised placements,or train under a partnering Harley Academy mentoring clinic.
Our one-to-one mentoring allows you to consult and treat genuine patients under expert guidance, in a real clinic. You will receive personal tuition as you proceed, allowing for rapid & significant improvement in your practical skill.

You will complete 3-4 short assignments of 100-500 words on each of the course topics: dermatology, principles of treatment, cosmetic psychology, botulinum toxins, and soft tissue fillers. Your theoretical knowledge and practical skills will also be assessed through a 2hr Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). Future proof your career

Training courses that run over a day or a weekend are not appropriate for the competencies required by the Department of Health review. Harley Academy endeavours to support patient safety through our offering training to the required professional, Higher Education standard.

In order to meet the new Health Education England requirements http://hee.nhs.uk/news-events/news/new-qualifications-unveiled-improve-safety-non-surgical-cosmetic-procedures for practical competencies, delegates are expected to observe 10 treatments of Botulinum Toxin followed by 10 supervised injections of their own. Harley Academy has established their own Clinic in order to allow delegates to meet these requirements in a genuine clinical environment.

Even if you are an experienced practitioner, it is becoming essential to formalise your competency with an accredited qualification. Experienced practitioners receive special prices and allowances for work that they have already completed. For this reason we have an entire RPL Policy http://www.harleyacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/UpdatedHEERPLPolicy.pdf that covers how to finally accredit your prior learning.

We are not affiliated with any manufacturer therefore our students gain competencies with any Botulinum Toxin including BOTOX® and Azzalure®.

Harley Academy is leading the revolution of aesthetic training away from weekend courses towards a more comprehensive, competency based certification as per other training pathways in medical specialties.

Upon graduation, Cosmetic Insure http://www.cosmeticinsure.com/ are exclusively granting our graduates one month of free cosmetic insurance to encourage immediate practice of learned skills.

The Harley Academy Level 7 Qualification in Injectables provides all the practical and theoretical training you need to achieve HEE-standard certification http://www.harleyacademy.com/why-choose-us/hee-guidelines/ in the delivery of botulinum toxins and dermal fillers.
