Joshua Hunte
I like the fact that the Information Management programme is a great mix of business and computer science courses which was developed with input from the industry. Furthermore, it's recognised and accredited by CILIP and CMI which makes it one of the best qualifications for professionals in business, data and technology roles.
The lecturers and staff are very supportive throughout the learning process and will go the extra mile to make your student experience the best while studying at Strathclyde.
What's great about studying the Information Management programme is that each course can become a career path. I have developed specialised knowledge and skills in information law, business analysis, web and database systems development, and data analytics/machine learning tools and techniques.
My dream is to use the knowledge and skills learned in this course to improve various aspects of our daily lives, e.g. health care, education etc. I believe Strathclyde has given me a solid foundation to pursue that dream by providing industry inspired courses coupled with a student-focused learning environment and a supportive network of lecturers and staff.

Jianhong Yao
Through my studies at Strathclyde, I was able to acquire the basic knowledge required to become a Data Analyst, including SQL, python, machine learning and deep learning, business analytics and project management methods. During the machine learning module, I participated in real life projects on the Kaggle platform, which increased my confidence about becoming a Data Analyst in the future.
The year I spent studying in Scotland was one of the happiest of my life. The nature and the people were lovely, and it was very convenient to live in Glasgow.

I chose to continue onto the Masters degree because it allowed me to gain new experiences and develop my specialities. It also meant I could enhance my research skills, which is advantageous, particularly as it can help me to discover new ideas and work independently. I think a postgraduate degree will provide me with many opportunities for future careers.
I like the style of teaching at Strathclyde because it is comprehensive and practical. The course modules met my needs and there were many group projects, which I believe enhanced my team-working skills. Strathclyde also has high graduate employability rates, and the location is perfect. Glasgow is an international hub and there are plenty of opportunities to discover new cultures and meet new friends.
