Leeds Beckett offered me a dual qualification, enabling me to get a professional (CIPD) and an academic degree together. The course gave me a sneak preview of the working world – after a four-week shadow placement with Leeds Building Society, I applied for a full-time position and now work within the Learning and Development team.
