Human Resource Management (CIPD Block Delivery) (PG Dip)

Course Description

Further your HR career while fitting your studies in around work and other commitments. Our 'block delivery' course includes monthly workshops on campus in Chelmsford, and is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

See the website http://www.anglia.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/human-resource-management-cipd-block-delivery

Studying on campus once a month, as well as through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), you’ll examine, challenge and extend your understanding of human resource management (HRM) processes and their influence on organisational and individual effectiveness.

Throughout the programme, the focus will be on developing your self-reflection skills by relating your learning experiences: in groups, lively topic-based internet forums, and through assessments designed to explore issues in your own workplace by applying the theory you’ve learnt.

Our Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is the foremost award in the field of human resource management and is held by many UK and international HR directors. Our students register as associate members of CIPD, and enjoy exclusive access to journals, reports, time-saving resources, library services, as well as professional development guidance and networking opportunities. Once you’re in work, you’ll be able to upgrade to full membership.

Here at Lord Ashcroft International The Business School, we have over 25 years’ experience of delivering CIPD qualifications and a high achievement rate: 100% of our MA Human Resource Management graduates are in work or further study six months after graduating (DLHE, 2014). So by studying with us, we think you have the best chance of success.

Please note: if you've achieved the CIPD Professional Development Standards in the last five years, or the Advanced Diploma Standards, or this Postgraduate Diploma on the block or part-time route, you can top-up your award to progress to the MA in Human Resource Management by undertaking two modules focusing your international and global understanding alongside a dissertation.

For immediate progression from the block or part-time route, you can progress to the top-up Masters in Human Resource Management by block delivery by undertaking two modules focusing your international and global understanding alongside a dissertation.

Teaching times: monthly workshops on Wednesdays.
