About the course

From flight crew to cabin crew, air traffic controllers to aircraft engineers, the human element is vital to the safe and efficient operation of all aspects of the aviation industry.

Over the past three decades, a better understanding of human behaviour has resulted in significant safety benefits in the aviation industry, with the human factors discipline forming a cornerstone of every aviation safety management programme.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should ideally hold an honours degree 2.2 or an equivalent international qualification or above in a cognate, psychology, medical or engineering discipline, and have experience in the operational aspects of the aviation industry.

However, applications from candidates with relevant experience and professional qualifications, or those with an undergraduate degree in another discipline will also be considered on an individual basis.

Each application will be considered on its merits and the final decision will be made by the course director.

Eligibility

This is a cash scholarship worth £2,000 and available to all students applying for a full-time, part-time or online(including CU online) postgraduate taught master's programme at Coventry University and achieved a first class degree.

Eligibility

This is an £500 cash bursary available for those Coventry University students that graduate in 2020 (this April, July or November) and starting their postgraduate taught degree in September 2020 or January 2021.
