About the course

Learn how to design, build and evaluate interactive systems. Discover the multi-disciplinary nature of human computer interaction and user experience design.

You'll study the technical, social and psychological factors behind the development of the interactive computing technologies, devices and systems that are part of our lives. You’ll develop an understanding of how human psychology, communication and social relations underpin design innovations and user experience. You'll learn how to design, develop and evaluate interactive systems with the needs of users in mind.

Entry Requirements

You should have a first or strong second-class bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent.

To apply for this course, you should have an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer science with mathematics, mathematical sciences or informatics.

We will also consider social sciences and psychology providing there is a computer and programming element.

We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree.
