About the course

The History (Urban History) - MA course at the University of Leicester is for students who want to study the history of urban culture and society at a specialist research centre. The Centre for Urban History (CUH) is an internationally recognised research centre for the study of towns and cities in the past, and topics covered on the course will include urban communities and cultures, architecture and townscape, urban environment and morphology. Entry Requirements

2:1 degree in history or another relevant discipline. We welcome applicants who do not have a degree but who can show enthusiasm and competence by having attended relevant certificated courses, by submitting published work or by writing qualifying essays to a first degree standard.
