Graduate Diploma Rural Environmental Conservation & Management


Course Description

This Programme is designed for those interested in the management and sustainable use of our natural resources and the rural environment. It is equally appropriate for those currently working within the agri-environment sector and who wish to upskill, or for graduates who wish to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to gain employement within this challenging but very rewarding area.The primary objective of the Programme is to provide advanced training in agri-environmental issues and policy requirements for the conservation and protection of natural resources and the rural environment at both farm and landscape level.

Entry Requirements

Entry to the Graduate Diploma is restricted to applicants who hold a primary degree; work experience in a relevant area will be considered adventageous. Candidates who obtain at least 60% in the Graduate Diploma examination will be eligible to proceed to the Masters if desired.
