About This Masters Degree

Course Description

About the program
Bond University’s Graduate Certificate of Nutrition provides students from various health backgrounds with foundational knowledge and skills related to human nutrition and health.

Building on undergraduate skills in health and related sciences, the Certificate explores the chemistry and composition of food as it relates to human nutrition, as well as the assessment and diagnosis of the nutrition status of individuals and populations. The Certificate aims to develop competence in effective nutrition communication and counselling while broadly examining population nutrition issues from a socio-ecological perspective.

Graduates are eligible to progress into the Graduate Diploma of Nutrition to further develop knowledge and skills relating to human nutrition and health, or directly into the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice to qualify as a dietitian
