About the course

Develop your existing professional IT skills and experience with a Masters in Cyber Security.

The purpose of the MSc Cyber Security Graduate Apprenticeship is to produce masters level graduates with skills and knowledge in cyber security with a specialisation in network security.

The Apprenticeship is targeted towards existing IT professionals who need to develop their current skills and experience in assessing security risks across a broad range of technical security solutions and designs.

By the time of course completion, masters graduates will be able to plan and carry out a variety of security testing strategies on IT infrastructures (wired and wireless); research, analyse and evaluate technical threat intelligence to reduce cyber security threats and vulnerabilities; troubleshoot issues

Entry Requirements

A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree of a UK university or equivalent which contains a substantial computing or information and communications technology component.

For applicants with prior work experience and professional qualifications, there is a possibility to be considered through the university’s flexible entry system through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Candidates must be employed in the same field as the course of study and must supply a supporting letter from their employer as part of the admissions process.
