This 30 credit programme will lead to a graduate certificate in Interventional Imaging and Practice. It will cover the fundamental aspects of Interventional Radiology; current IR technology; radiation safety; patient care and IR procedures. This programme is designed for radiographers working in the speciality of Interventional Radiology.
It aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of both the service and the clinical practice within IR. It will equip students to respond to the rapidly changing and evolving nature of this Radiology sub-speciality.
Applicants must hold a BSc or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography; have at least one year post-qualification experience with clinical experience working in the IR department.
