The Masters and Graduate Diploma in Development explores the nature of development in a local and global context and enables participants to increase their own capacity as development actors and/or motivators in a variety of development contexts. The course provides a broad understanding of development in theory and in practice - in relation to economic, social and cultural change and the associated role of individuals and institutions involved in developmental praxis. It is designed for those who want to pursue a professional career in private or public sectors as well as for those who want to pursue further postgraduate study.
Applicants should normally be the holders of a primary degree with first or second class honours in a cognate social science discipline and/or relevant experience in the field of international development.
