Entry Requirements

A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Prospective students must demonstrate commitment to engage with complex global challenges across a range of disciplines. Applicants with significant work experience in government, business, civil society or social entrepreneurship and/or postgraduate training are strongly encouraged to apply.

I wanted to study a variety of metrics for economic growth outside of traditional financial indicators and this programme's approach to the study of wellbeing was the perfect complement to my background in history and political science. Working closely with the IGP and its staff has been one of the highlights of my experience at UCL.


At the Institute for Global Prosperity (IGP), we educate the problem solvers of the future. Our degrees equip ambitious, entrepreneurial students with new approaches to prosperity, helping them to become future transition leaders.


Eligible candidates must:
1) Be domiciled in the UK with home fee status;
2) Hold an offer of admission to study on one of the below IGP postgraduate programmes*:
