Are you spending more time working IN your business than ON your business? Would you like to learn more to help your business but not sure what or how? If so, this new Global Entrepreneurship Post Graduate Certificate is for you!

Small businesses are the lifeblood of our local and global economies and communities. Increasingly small business owners are managing a wide range of diverse challenges and opportunities in a dynamic and fast changing marketplace. On this programme you will have the opportunity to apply business and entrepreneurial concepts and tools to the strategic challenges you face daily. 

This Global Entrepreneurship PGCert is aimed at individuals who have already gained experience in business, typically in a number of settings. Due to the nature of the programme, it is expected that you will study on a part-time basis concurrently while undertaking a business role or be in the process of establishing a business. The course is studied predominately online, with support from module tutors, your personal mentor and your personal academic tutor, as well as the wider programme team of experienced business professionals.

The course offers focused practical provision supporting you to build your confidence and leadership skills to develop yourself and your business at a time and place to suit your needs. It will support you to become increasingly responsive and exploit emerging opportunities in the dynamic global economy.

Funding

A limited number of places may be available with full tuition fee support for Scottish-domiciled/EU students, studying full time, on this course starting in September 2019 to help talented students join this key growth sector for the Scottish economy. Fees will be funded by the European Social Fund and Scottish Funding Council as part of Developing Scotland’s Workforce in the Scotland 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund Programmes.

From 2017, eligible Scotland domiciled students studying full time can access loans up to 10,000 from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).This comprises a tuition fee loan up to £5,500 and a non-income assessed living cost loan of £4,500. EU students studying full time can apply for a tuition fee loan up to £5500.

Part-time students undertaking any taught postgraduate course over two years up to Masters level who meet the residency eligibility can apply for a for a tuition fee loan up to £2,750 per year.
