The University of South Wales offers the unique Returning to Teaching programme, designed to help you confidently return to the primary classroom. This course is also suitable for qualified teachers looking to update their teaching qualification or make the transition from secondary to primary school teaching. You'll gain practical experience in simulated classrooms, covering all areas of learning and development. Additionally, you'll spend 10 days in a primary school, further enhancing your skills and understanding. The course is delivered one day a week over 10 weeks, allowing for flexibility. Are you considering returning to teaching? Don’t be put off by a lack of recent experience. We welcome and celebrate life experience on this course, and we aim to support you to use it while confidently returning to the primary classroom.
