To apply to the program you will need to meet all of the following requirements:

At least three years of consecutive postgraduate, professional experience
An undergraduate, or first university, degree of minimum 3 years (bachelor)
Strong GMAT, GRE, EA, or BAT scores (the average GMAT score is 640)
English proficiency test scores

ESMT gathers the most diverse and talented MBA class in Germany. Every year, ESMT accepts around 70 students from across the globe who share the School’s passion for responsible leadership. Each ESMT MBA class is a small, hand-picked group of professionals chosen to ensure that students receive the best possible personal development. ESMT’s MBA scholarship program helps make your goal of an international business career a reality. Supported by its 25 corporate founders, ESMT offers a number of partial-tuition scholarships for MBA applicants. Every year, there are also a limited number of prestigious full-tuition scholarships available.

Scholarships are allocated based on academic excellence, personal and professional achievement, particularly strong leadership potential, and superior interpersonal skills. MBA scholarships are restricted to self-funded candidates and are applied directly to the applicant’s tuition.

Application Procedure

To receive a scholarship, MBA candidates first fill out an online application to the MBA program. All applicants to the MBA program are automatically considered for any available scholarships.

Candidates displaying outstanding student leadership experiences during their bachelor’s study, specifically with regards to taking leadership initiatives in student clubs, student government, volunteer projects, international conferences, and during bachelor’s internships.

Net Impact @ESMT Berlin offers future master students who have been highly committed to the cause of sustainability an opportunity to apply for this scholarship.

We define sustainability, and thus the commitment to it as showing results within companies and organizations in the following areas:

Climate change - waste management, food solutions, sustainable supply chains, new mobility, smart cities, among many other possibilities

Healthcare - curative healthcare solutions, as well as public health and preventative initiatives (promoting healthy lifestyles)

Non-profit - initiatives geared towards global poverty and global health - particularly main cause areas, such as extreme poverty, malaria, and deworming initiatives
