Foundations of Clinical Nutrition - Certification Course


Course Description

Clinical Nutrition is not dietary nutrition - it relies on clinical test results to determine nutritional needs based on pathology. This comprehensive course addresses necessary nutrients to return to full function and repair damaged tissue. It reminds the student of the pathways and the metabolites needed for full function and discusses certain deficiency states and how to address them.

Created in collaboration with The American Council of Applied Clinical Nutrition, which provides certification upon successful completion as Fellows of the American Council of Applied Clinical Nutrition, permitting the use of letters FACACN.

Entry Requirements

Previous studies in Pharmacy, Chemistry and/or Biology recommended. Strong command of written and spoken English required. Distance learning course with open enrollment based out of New Jersey, USA office.
