About the course

Financial Technology (FinTech) is one of the major revolutions in financial markets, with technology enhancing or replacing traditional financial methods in the delivery of financial activities.

Investment in the FinTech sector is rapidly increasing, and the FinTech industry, especially start-ups, faces technological, legal and regulatory challenges and unexpected events. Therefore, FinTech professionals are required to have analytical and critical thinking skills which help them find creative solutions to such problems.

Entry Requirements

A 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree, or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification, in any subject. Work experience is not required.

Applicants with non-degree qualifications will be considered where they have relevant work experience (minimum 3 years full-time), and will be assessed on an interview basis.

English language requirements

IELTS: 6.0 overall, with no sub-test less than 5.5.

The University is pleased to be offering a specific suite of scholarships to nationals from countries managed by the Middle East Regional Office.

This award is for self-funding, international fee paying students who are nationals of either: Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Nepal. This scholarship is available for all students who meet eligibility criteria.

Students on discounted partnership programmes are not entitled to this scholarship.

Payment amount & frequency
All students from Nigeria, Kenya and Botswana will be awarded a £5000 scholarship as a fee reduction. All students from Uganda and South Africa will be awarded a £4000 scholarship as a fee reduction. The scholarship will be paid in subsequent years if progressing with an average of 60% or above.

Application Procedure

You do not need to apply for this scholarship. It will be applied to your tuition fee so long as you meet the eligibility criteria. Once you have enrolled on to your chosen course, the discount will be visible on your University of Bradford account.
