Entry Requirements

A minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent in a business, finance, or economics subject, or a numerate subject such as engineering, computing, maths or informatics; or an equivalent overseas qualification.

To be considered on an individual basis:

- Candidates with a 2:2 honours degree in other disciplines if some level of finance/ economics/ informatics content formed part of the degree and you can demonstrate a high level of quantitative ability through your degree results.

- Candidates with a 2:2 honours degree in an unrelated subject area but have relevant work experience or relevant professional qualifications.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be applying for the first year of full-time study on this, or another eligible master’s programme in our 2021-22 academic year.

You must hold an offer for an eligible programme, achieve a first-class degree and meet your offer conditions by the admission's deadline.

Application Procedure

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. You will be assessed when you apply for your chosen programme of study for our 2021-22 intake. If you are successfully offered this scholarship, you must accept your offer of admission and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline specified in order to receive the funding

You must hold an offer for an eligible programme, achieve at least a second-class degree and meet your offer conditions by the admission's deadline.

You may apply for this scholarship if you have already been awarded a different scholarship. However, in line with the University of Salford terms and conditions, you can only receive one scholarship - the one with the highest value.
