On this programme, students develop a practical and critical approach to the relationship between film production workflows, digital film technology, and creative practice. This course seeks to develop students' creative abilities to a high professional standard, preparing them for employment in increasingly dynamic film and media sectors. The course facilitates film projects that foreground the importance of practice-based research, expertise and experimentation.
The MSc route focuses on creative technological agendas in filmmaking. From October to April, you will attend the following core courses: Cinematography, Production Practice, Film Research Workshop, Editing, and Emerging Cinematography Practices. You will choose one course as an option

In cases where film professionals wish to attend university to improve their skillset, we would consider five years of significant professional experience in the film industry as an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
