In just 24 months—considerably less than traditional part-time MBA programs—you can earn an MBA from one of the nation’s most respected business schools. At Babson, our world-renowned MBA curriculum teaches students to think holistically as they address the complexities and ambiguities of business.
Fast Track combines in-person and Web-based learning by pairing the most up-to-date virtual learning technologies with our highly innovative approach to business education. Fast Track also emphasizes team-based learning. You’ll learn not only from top educators and business leaders, but also from peers and teammates. Since most of your classmates are mid- to senior-level managers, you’ll greatly expand your network of contacts and sources of information—important as you build your career.
The Fast Track’s central, unifying theme is entrepreneurial leadership in a changing global environment. The program teaches the essential skills that every manager needs to know. The technology-based distance learning components reinforce the program’s dynamic focus. Professors quickly disseminate course material, permit effective course discussions, and facilitate robust student-to-student collaboration. Faculty and students communicate more flexibly and immediately in this real-time learning environment.
Course work and activities in the Fast Track MBA follow a modular format designed, in broad terms, to mirror the cycle of business development. Respectively, the core curriculum focuses on:
Recognizing and assessing an opportunity Formulating a business strategy Implementing the business strategy Modifying that strategy and systems as conditions evolve and change
The content of each portion of the curriculum reflects the real-world challenges and opportunities facing managers today, and will draw heavily on students’ own work-life experiences.
