Executive MBA

Course Description

The IHU Executive MBA is a 24-month programme taught over a long weekend (including Friday) once a month, and commences every January. In total there are sixteen weekends of classes.

Our programme is designed for busy professionals in order to advance their career without losing momentum. The flexible teaching timetable aims to enable students from miscellaneous backgrounds to attend classes.
Furthermore, a variety of teaching methods are employed in order to facilitate learning, such as workshops, soft skills development sessions and integrating seminars.

Teaching takes place on-campus, in Thessaloniki.

Next intake: January 2016. Applications are accepted all year-round.

Teaching takes place, on campus in Thessaloniki, once a month, except April, August and December.
In total there are 16 long weekends (Fri-Sun) of teaching.
Students who are accepted on the 2015 programme will commence their studies at the end of January 2015 and complete the taught modules by the end of July 2016.
The remaining 5 months of the programme are dedicated to the Field Trip Project and work on the Business Consultancy Project (dissertation).

The programme operates on the following schedule:
Friday 13.00 - 20.00
Saturday 9.00 - 19.00
Sunday 9.00 -15:00
Examinations take place during these weekend periods.

When to apply

IHU operates on a rolling admissions basis. This means that candidates apply for and are admitted to our programmes all year round. We suggest, however, that you apply as early as possible to ensure a quick response and place availability. We aim to provide decisions within two weeks of your submitting a complete application.

Application checklist

To apply for the IHU EMBA, you will need to provide the following documents:

a completed application form
a copy of your degree certificate, and transcripts detailing the courses studied and grades attained
your English language test score report
two references: one from an academic and one from your employer. Both referees should have direct knowledge of your suitability for EMBA study
two recent passport-size photographs
your CV (resume)

A personal interview may be required

The programme fees for the Executive MBA have been set at 10,000€, including the books and the access to online databases.

The fees are payable in four installments every six months.

The fees are also eligible for financing through LAEK 0,45% - OAED programme.

Deposits -

If you have been accepted on the EMBA programme, you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of €500 to secure your place. This amount will count towards the first installment of your tuition fees.

The deposit can be paid by bank transfer or bank draft.

EasyPay -

In cooperation with Piraeus Bank, the University has also arranged for fees to be payable through Easypay, quickly and securely.

Scholarships -

Partial scholarships are available for exceptional candidates, where financial need can be demonstrated.

Entry Requirements

- An undergraduate degree from a recognised University- A minimum of three years' full-time work experience gained after graduation- For graduates from non-English-speaking universities, a good IELTS (6.5 and above), TOEFL (IBT, 95 and above) or TOEIC (900 and above) score, or a recognised by the Greek State certificate of proficiency in English
