About the course

The Environmental Pollution and Remediation programme at Aberdeen covers all you need to know to assess and analyse pollutants in our environment. You learn to understand legislation and policies relating to pollution control as well as recognised environmental risk assessment methods.

Our programme includes a wide variety of courses relevant to pollution and its management. These include environmental pollution, remediation technology, hydrocarbon risk assessment and remediation, environmental analysis and environmental impact assessments (EIA). During these courses you will develop key skills in environmental policy, legislation, risk assessment models and chemical analysis.

Entry Requirements

A UK 2:1 Honours degree (or international equivalent) in a biological, environmental or physical science, geography or other relevant subject; applicants with a 2:2 Honours degree (or equivalent), particularly with some relevant experience, may also be considered. We also consider individuals with degrees in a wider range of disciplines who are clearly motivated by the programme and have some relevant experience.
