Our Electrical Power MSc covers all major disciplines of electrical power. You'll deepen your knowledge, commercial awareness and technical ability to develop advanced skills. Specialise in one of three streams: electrical power, power distribution engineering or advanced electrical power.

A 2:2 honours degree, or equivalent, in:
electrical and electronic engineering
computer engineering
Other subjects that may be considered include:
mechanical engineering
physics
communications, information and control engineering
building electricity and intelligence
computer science and technology
We will consider your application on an individual basis if you have lower or non-standard qualifications and significant, relevant professional experience.
English Language Requirements:
To study this course you need to meet our Band 1 English Language Requirements.
Direct Entry: IELTS 6.0 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills).
