Successful completion of the Diploma / Professional Graduate Certificate (typically two years part-time) allows you to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.

Those enrolling will normally possess at least a minimum Level 3 qualification in their own area of specialism.Before applying to Canterbury Christ Church University, you will need to apply and be accepted to the course at one of our partner colleges.
A teacher is expected to be vocationally qualified to a minimum of one level above that of the course they are teaching on.You'll need to demonstrate at interview your ability to benefit from the course and to meet the teaching requirement applicable to the course you've chosen.
