Early Stage Researcher

Course Description

This researcher will investigate the efficacy of a pH sensitive linking system to facilitate spatiotemporal peptide and growth factor deliver in vitro. This involves designing a linking system specifically for peptide and growth factor delivery. The researcher will also develop protocols for scale-up of hydrogel system components.

Entry Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and team working skills. The researcher would hold or expect to obtain an Honours Bachelor degree in Biomaterials, Bioengineering or other Biomedical or Biological discipline and should have a keen interest in pursuing pre-clinical research into cardiovascular repair. The candidate must have less than 4 years' research experience. The applicant must not have spent more than 12 months in the country (Ireland) of the host/recruiting institution in the 3 years prior to selection.
