The program provides students with the necessary skills for the scientific analysis of economic issues. The first semester consists of compulsory courses that cover basic topics in macro- and microeconomics, econometrics, and mathematics. In the second and third semester, students can specialize in several fields, such as public finance, industrial economics or econometrics. Courses are taught in German and English. The program concludes with a master thesis in the fourth semester.
Special features of the course are Mentoring and Career Coaching programs. After the master degree, Ph.D. funding is guaranteed for the best graduates.
