Contextualizing East-Central Europe: Hungary's Cultural Identity

Course Description

This tailor-made certificate program is designed to introduce foreign students to the history, visual arts, literature, and contemporary cultural trends of East-Central Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries. Dedicated to enhancing practical knowledge and an appreciation for Hungary’s multifarious cultural heritage, the program serves as an excellent prelude to a broad spectrum of issues, which make up the cultural landscape of Hungary and the region. The goal of the program is to bring attention to the achievements in Hungarian art and culture while focusing on current, polemical issues of the region by using Hungary as a gateway.Details at: http://www.btk.elte.hu/en/Alias-130.
