As a dental practitioner, this course will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to use intravenous and inhalational sedation techniques on a wide range of anxious patients, including adults and children.
Our Conscious Sedation in Dentistry PG Diploma has been suspended for October 2020 entry and April 2021 entry. This means that we won’t be able to accept applications for these entry dates.
The suspension is due to a range of factors caused by Covid-19, such as changes to health and safety and NHS clinical space and resource.

There is a limited number of places on this course. You must have completed a primary dental qualification at least one year before the start of the course. This needs to be recognised by the (UK) General Dental Council.
You must be fully registered with the General Dental Council (UK) by the time the course starts.
International students must follow a full time degree course to receive a student visa. If you have a working visa you may be eligible for part time study on this course.
