Student Profile(s)

Tom Collins

1906.jpg After completing an undergraduate degree in Business Information Systems in UCC I was looking to expand my technical knowledge. I chose the MSc Computing Science as it offers a fantastic mix of general computing concepts as well as modules on new technologies such as Android and Objective C. The course has a very strong practical element with much of the learning coming from lab practical’s and continuous assessment.
After finishing the course I was offered a job as an Application Developer in Credit Suisse, London. I now work as a .NET developer on the bank’s .NET application framework.
