Complex Transportation Infrastructure Systems

Course Description

The MIT-Portugal Program is a large-scale international collaboration involving MIT and government, academia, and industry in Portugal to develop education and research programs related to engineering systems. The Complex Transportation Infrastructure Systems (CTIS) program brings together the tradition and rigor of a Master in Engineering with the insights of an MBA. The CTIS course builds on three key domains: engineering, management and financing, and policy and regulation. Lecturing by MIT and Portuguese faculty with guest seminars by experts in their domains. Entry Requirements

Good marks on 4- or 5- year first degree; Fluency in English; Candidates will come from a range of disciplines, including civil engineering, urban planning, computer science, economics or other social and engineering sciences. Successful candidates will couple strong analytical and writing skills with the capacity to collaborate in high-level research teams.
