Description
The Master's degree program Information and Communications Engineering builds on and develops skills acquired during a Bachelor's degree, such as Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telematics, or Informatics. In addition to offering broad fundamental knowledge, the branches of study allow students to gain in-depth qualifications for the development and use of modern information and communication technologies. The branch of study Networks and Communications serves to provide an academic education and qualification for professional activities in the development and operation of modern information and communication technologies, which require the application of scientific insights and methods.

SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED BY THE ROMANIAN STATE THROUGH BILATERAL TREATIES
The Romanian scholarship schemes offered by the Romanian state in keeping with bilateral documents in force or with unilateral offers made by Romania to other states are administered by the Ministry of Education, Research, Sport and Youth. Please check with the Romanian Embassy in your home country about the availability of this type of scholarships.
SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED BY THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY, COMMERCE AND TOURISM FOR NON-EU CITIZENS
40 scholarships are offered every year by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Tourism to non-EU citizens interested in enrolling in a Romanian-taught study programme (one year for the study of the Romanian language is included in the scholarship) at Bachelor's, Master's or PhD level.
Studies in the fields of business and economics, agriculture, medicine, oil and gas, and technology are given priority, although all study fields are eligible for funding.
The scholarship includes a tuition fee waiver, free-of-charge accommodation and a monthly allowance. International and local transport, as well as daily expenses will be covered by the scholarship holder.
Applicants need to be in a position to promote the economic relations between Romania and their country of origin, and to obtain an official recommendation letter from one of the involved authorities:
- recommendation from the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and the Business Environment in his/her home country;
- recommendation from the Embassy, Consulate, Honorary Consulate or other representations of the home country of the applicant;
- recommendation from a company supported by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and the Business Environment in his/her home country;
- recommendation from an NGO in his/her home country;

EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED BY THE ROMANIAN STATE TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
These scholarships of the Romanian State can be obtained by international students with outstanding professional and scientific results who graduated at least one year of studies (except the preparatory year) in an accredited state institution of higher education from Romania and obtained a minimum average score of 8.00.
