Course content

Cardiac physiologists are responsible for recording and analysing physiological data to diagnose and treat known or suspected cardiac disease. Clinical physiologists must combine highly specialist knowledge, skills and analytical problem solving with patient care and support to provide high quality modern healthcare.

Our MSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) degree will provide you with a comprehensive grounding in the fundamental principles and recent advances in the field alongside mechanisms underpinning the major pathological processes. Our students build their knowledge of modern technologies used in diagnostics and research to solve complex problems related to disease investigation required to progress their own research.

You will develop practical skills to carry out experimental research and the critical evaluation and analysis skills required for literature reviews; assessing essential facts, concepts, principles and theories; legal requirements for human experiments and ethical issues relating to research with human subjects and human tissue relevant to your research.

Visit the Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) MSc/ PG Dip page on the Middlesex University website for more details!
