Georgina Nelson

'The MSc in Climate Change and Development was a thought provoking and stimulating course which broadened my thinking and put climate change into both an environmental perspective and an economic one. I especially enjoyed the Ecological Economics module which sparked my passion for energy efficiency and reduction solutions. I have gone on to be a data analyst in a sustainability consultancy where I analyse energy data for large companies who are obliged, under climate change policy, to monitor and reduce their carbon emissions. The course at Reading gave me a wide range of skills and knowledge in the climate change sector which I have been able to use and develop in my new professional role. I highly recommend this course to anyone who has an avid interest in the sector and also know that Reading University is held in high esteem by employers.'
