This master’s programme is interdisciplinary and focuses on the critical study of questions related to children and childhood.

Courses explore various areas: children’s rights, parents and the family, education and school, migration, culture, the media, and health. You will deepen your knowledge of methodological approaches and theoretical perspectives in child studies. Entry Requirements

Bachelor's degree equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen within the humanities, social sciences or the behavioral sciences with a major (or its equivalent) relevant to the programme. Examples of fields relevant to the programme are anthropology, education, history, communication studies, media studies, language studies, psychology, social work, sociology and political sicence.

English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (English 6/B). Exemption from Swedish 3.


Fees

Citizens from within the EU/EEA and Switzerland: No tuition fees , All others: 160,000 SEK (approx. 19,000 USD/ 16,000 Euro)
