Student Profiles

Lizzy Elson

“Child nursing has allowed me to have the honour of looking after not only the children but their families at their most vulnerable. It has enabled me to be a smiling face that could brighten up a day in a difficult time.”

- Lizzy Elson, BSc (Hons) Child Nursing, 2nd year student

Harvey Box

"I came to look around John Moores after finding out it was one of the best nursing schools in the country. As soon as I arrived in Liverpool I had a feeling that this was where I'd want to be. There was just a vibe every time I visited which I really enjoyed and after speaking to students and staff I knew that I would receive so much support when I came here, which has proven to be true. The University is in an ideal location to get around and has fantastic links with placement areas to provide students with the best opportunities possible - this is especially true with Alder Hey."

- Harvey Box, BSc (Hons) Child Nursing, 2nd year student
