Course content

This program is designed for in-service music educators who wish to upgrade their skills in music technology and apply the materials, musicianship skills, and methodologies in a focused program to enhance music learning in all facets of the music curriculum, yet who do not wish to undertake a full master's degree curriculum.

Learning Outcomes

• Content and Pedagogical Specialist: Knows learners, subject matter, and curriculum.
• Assessment and Instructional Designer: Constructs effective learning experiences/outcomes assessments.
• Classroom Community Builder and Diversity Advocate: Values diversity and community in the classroom through practice.

• MUE 598 Integrating Music Tech in Classroom
• MUE 593 Notation for Music Educators

PLUS one from:

• MUE 596 Multimedia Authoring Mus Ed
• MUE 597 Digital Media for Music Educators

PLUS

• One Music Technology elective worth 3 credits.
