About the course
MA Ceramics is a challenging course that embraces the unique creative potential of clay. This course embraces all facets of ceramic work, including craft and design, functional and decorative, one-off and mass production, and sculptural and architectural.
Rooted in ‘making’, it offers a distinctive blend of practice and theory. Our focus is on giving you the opportunity to explore and realise your individual aspirations and potential, allowing you to develop the skills necessary for a professional career.
Your tutors will work with you to craft a uniquely individual, tailor-made programme of study which will help you achieve your ambitions.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should hold a 2:2 degree or equivalent professional experience or learning in a related field.
Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits.
A detailed admissions procedure will be forwarded on application.
IELTS: Score of 6.5 or above.
A high level of achievement in undergraduate studies at a university elsewhere such as North America: Minimum overall GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
All applicants are requested to submit digital supporting material and where possible will be invited to attend an interview with a portfolio of recent work.
