Biotechnology for the Life Sciences is a new research-based masters/diploma program, designed to give students the best possible training for a career in life sciences research, whether in academia or industry. With a focus on skills and learning through practical experiences, the course gives students the opportunaty to work in two different research laboratories in their first year, getting hands on experiences at working in each, before engaging in a year-long research project in their second year.
Courtesy of funding from the European Union, the first intake of students, starting October 2020 for the course will be charged no tuition fees.

Completion of an undergraduate degree (180 ECTS or international equivalent) in biology or related sub-disciplines, such as molecular biology, cell biology, biomedical sciences, virology, microbiology, neuroscience or biotechnology. Programs containing a mixture of biology and chemistry are also be eligiable.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English are essential.
