Entry Requirements

A first or second class UK Honours degree or equivalent, in mathematics, physics or an engineering discipline.

In general, our intake comes from both a physics and engineering background. Students from other sciences, mathematics, or computing backgrounds are welcome to apply and we will consider applications on a case by case basis.

Richard Whittle

I think space is the future – this is my chance to be right at the forefront of that. My thesis was the interaction between engineering and medicine in space. For me the course was perfect. I was looking for something fairly specific and I looked around, but I didn't apply to anywhere else.

Scholarships cover part of the tuition fee and the amount you can be awarded is at the discretion of the course director for the programme you have applied for.
