About the course

The MSc in Applied Psychology has three distinct and separate pathways of study allowing you to focus on Psychology in Business and Organisations, Psychology in Education or Positive Psychology. You can elect to study topics in your chosen area of interest and it allows you to tailor your degree to meet your career aspirations.

Whether you wish to follow an applied career in an area of Psychology, or go on to further study at PhD level, this programme gives you the skills, qualification and insight to follow your ambitions.

Entry Requirements

To meet the standard entry criteria, you are required to hold a minimum of a GCSE ‘C’ Grade (or Internationally recognised equivalent) in Mathematics.

You should also have completed an Honours degree in Psychology (single/joint honours) of at least 2:2 classification. Due to the use of statistical methods within psychology, you should be able to evidence that you are familiar with the following topics:

Means and standard deviations
Distributions, hypothesis testing and statistical significance
t-tests
Correlation coefficients
Variables and measurement
